Illustration Friday - for real!!

Here's my first attempt at Illustration Friday. The theme was "unbalanced." The ratio of hair to head in this portrait is unbalanced. This portrait was inspired in part by Roman sculpture portrait heads with big hair. I would consider it a work in progress.

It's time to get going with some arty stuff. I think the best way to get that going is to follow Illustration Friday's weekly prompts. Just imagine, after one year I'll have 52 new pieces of art! Stay tuned for my first piece, on the theme "Unbalanced."
