Here's my first attempt at Illustration Friday. The theme was "unbalanced." The ratio of hair to head in this portrait is unbalanced. This portrait was inspired in part by Roman sculpture portrait heads with big hair. I would consider it a work in progress.

@rekoj - yeah, I haven't publicized much since I've been lax about drawing/painting! I have lots of ideas that I'm planning to bust out, though! Like many art babies, there is a certain gestation period, I think.
